They (robins and waxwings) were gorging themselves on the Hawthorn berries in our backyard yesterday…when I went outside to position myself under the plum tree, most flew up to the top of the elm tree. I just sat quietly and the berries called them all back. Lol!
I can’t what to see the first robins of the season. That is always the true sign to me that winter is over. Think we have a couple of months to go yet, though.

I love robins. As Penelope says in “The Shell Seekers”, they’re such “gregarious creatures.”
